Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Create NSD and VNFD descriptors (ETSI NFV-compliant)
  • Model VNF/CNF lifecycle operations (instantiate, scale, heal, terminate)
  • Develop automation workflows using Mistral
  • Integrate workflows with orchestrator (e.g., OSM or other NFVO)
  • Validate descriptor syntax, metadata, charms, day-0/day-1 configs
  • Collaborate with backend team for API triggers and service chaining

Required Skills

  • Strong understanding of ETSI NFV MANO
  • Hands-on experience writing NSD & VNFD (YAML/JSON)
  • Proficiency with Mistral workflow development
  • Understanding of VNF/CNF lifecycle management
  • Experience with Linux, cloud-init, helm charts, Juju charms (optional based on platform)

Nice to Have

  • Experience with OSM, ONAP, or similar NFV orchestrators
  • Knowledge of container platforms (K8s) and networking concepts

Basic scripting (Python/Bash) for validation and automation
