Role: Business Operations & Marketing Intern (Pilot Project – 6 Months)
Purpose of the Role
To support and coordinate the launch and execution of Indifil's new business model for selling a product through Amazon and local marketing channels. This intern will act as the central point of coordination across Amazon operations, logistics partners, internal teams, and marketing initiatives, ensuring smooth functioning of the 6-month pilot project.
Key Responsibilities
1. Amazon Marketplace Coordination
- Create and update product listings (images, descriptions, pricing, keywords).
- Monitor order flow, stock levels, delivery performance, and customer queries.
- Coordinate with Amazon support teams for listing approval, issues, or account health notifications.
- Track reviews and ratings; prepare weekly insights.
2. Logistics & Inventory Coordination
- Work with courier partners and warehouse team to ensure continuous product availability.
- Track incoming and outgoing shipments daily.
- Report on delivery timelines, returns, replacements, and RTO trends.
- Maintain inventory reconciliation sheets.
3. Business Tracking & Reporting
- Prepare weekly dashboards on sales, marketing activities, returns, profitability, and key KPIs.
- Analyse what strategies are working and suggest improvements.
- Maintain the full pilot project tracker and highlight risks or delays.
4. Marketing Support
- Assist in planning and executing local marketing activities (events, tie-ups with automotive service centres, petrol pumps, auto-accessory shops, resident communities, etc.).
- Manage social media coordination for product promotions (posting, scheduling, responding).
- Coordinate with designers/agencies for creatives, videos, packaging improvements.
- Support digital marketing efforts (Google, Meta ads – with guidance).
5. Customer Communication Support
- Track customer queries and feedback from Amazon, WhatsApp, and other channels.
- Coordinate with the internal team to improve customer experience.
- Support the setup of a FAQ bank, templates, and customer engagement content.
6. General Project Coordination
- Ensure that all activities related to the 6-month trial run smoothly.
- Follow up with all stakeholders and close loops on pending tasks.
- Maintain documentation, SOPs, and learnings for final review after 6 months.
