Location: Delhi, Bengaluru, Mumbai (Openings across metro cities)

Overview

Arthan is partnering with high-impact nonprofits and social enterprises to recruit skilled fundraising professionals. Candidates should have a proven & demonstrated track record in securing funds from HNI/UHNIs, family philanthropies, CSR partners, foundations, and institutional donors. Ability to craft compelling proposals, research donor segments, and execute successful fundraising campaigns is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement fundraising strategies targeting HNIs, UHNIs, family offices, CSR, institutional funders, and foundations.
  • Build, nurture, and sustain donor relationships, driving engagement through events, outreach, and tailored communications.
  • Draft persuasive grant applications and proposals; ensure alignment with organisational goals and funder priorities.
  • Conduct sector/donor research; identify new fundraising opportunities and track trends.
  • Organize and lead fundraising campaigns and events in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with program and communications teams to create impact-driven fundraising narratives.
  • Maintain donor records, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and report progress against targets.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 5-15 years fundraising experience (NGO, social enterprise, corporate, or institutional).
  • Demonstrated success in raising funds from HNIs, UHNIs, CSR partners, foundations, and institutional donors.
  • Strong grant/proposal writing and research abilities.
  • Excellent relationship-building and networking skills.
  • Deep sector awareness and understanding of funding landscapes in India.
  • Strategic thinking, self-driven, and high on integrity.
  • Familiarity with donor management systems and compliance procedures.
