Qualifications & Experience

  • BE / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
  • 5–8 years of experience
    in
    Design and Development
    within a
    sheet metal industry
  • Hands-on experience working in the
    Design/Engineering department
    of a Sheet Metal Engineering organization

Technical Skills

  • Proficient in SolidWorks
    , including 3D modeling and detailing
  • Strong skills in
    AutoCAD
  • Expertise in
    Jigs & Fixtures design
  • Experience in
    Press Tool design and maintenance
  • Well-versed in
    Detailed Engineering
    and generating accurate engineering drawings
  • Proficient in
    BOM (Bill of Materials) preparation

Manufacturing Process Knowledge

  • Strong understanding of sheet metal manufacturing operations such as:
  • Stamping
  • Roll Forming
  • Press Brake
  • Turret Punching
  • Tube Bending
  • Laser Cutting
  • Welding
  • Powder Coating

Additional Requirements

  • Good knowledge of
    ISO and EMS documentation
    , systems, and record-keeping
  • Ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams and support manufacturing activities
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
