Role & responsibilities

  • Prepare financial statements with accuracy and compliance with applicable standards.
  • Complete audit procedures that obtain sufficient appropriate audit evidence with a focus on quality and in accordance with applicable auditing standards.
  • Exercise and document the approach to professional skepticism including robust challenge, consideration of alternatives and disconfirming evidence
  • Identify and document audit misstatements and assess these individually and cumulatively against materiality
  • Demonstrating expertise in primary accounting framework (Ind-AS, IFRS), related financial reporting matters, Accounting and auditing standards.
  • Identify and document risks, issues and conclusions - consulting with appropriate team members as necessary.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Graduate or Postgraduate with exposure to Chartered Accountancy (pursuing or discontinued) and a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in accounting or auditing post-articleship.
  • In-depth knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS), IFRS, Accounting and Auditing standards, guidelines and Policies.
  • Strong background and experience with audit methodologies and techniques.
  • Expertise in Financial Due Diligence, accounting, compliance, and financial analysis.
  • Experience in real estate industry is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
  • High attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
