Housekeeping Executive

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Housekeeping Executive to lead our housekeeping team and ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, orderliness, and guest satisfaction throughout the hotel. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage daily housekeeping operations including guest rooms, public areas, back-of-house, and laundry.
- Inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure they meet hotel standards.
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned work areas.
- Train, and evaluate housekeeping staff; manage schedules and assignments.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and equipment; manage ordering and usage.
- Handle guest complaints and requests promptly and professionally.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and hotel policies.
- Prepare reports on room status, occupancy, and departmental performance.
- Coordinate with other departments (e.g., Front Office, Maintenance) for seamless guest service.
- Lead and communicate goals and updates to the team.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education:
- 10+2 or Diploma in Hospitality Management or related field preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum 2-5 years of housekeeping experience in a hotel or resort environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
Skills:
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Good communication skills (verbal and written).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management systems (PMS).
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
- Knowledge of housekeeping equipment, cleaning chemicals, and safety protocols.
