Job Summary:

If you are an Instrumentation Engineer seeking an opportunity to grow, develop, and expand your professional skills, Emerson has a position for you at Mumbai Location. As a Field Service Engineer / Senior Engineer. You will be part of a team responsible for performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, logic and graphics modification and development work, establishing third party communications, technical support to customer physically and remotely both for DCS System. 

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Will be responsible for leading DeltaV installed base of 40-45 systems across the Mumbai, Maharashtra region. 
• Will be allocated 25-30 Active AMC / Service Contracts for Maintenance Contract Execution which will consume 200–220 site visit days annually including travel. 
• Billing value from allocated sites will be KUSD.
• Expected to generate additional revenue of 25-30 KUSD by adding new service contracts in the region.

For This Role, You Will Need:

1. Technical: Team member and self-directed contributor. Works well within a team but is equally capable of performing independently.
   
   1. Knowledge of Distributed Control System (DCS) - Basic Requirement.
   2. Knowledge of Pharma / Chemical Industry / Refinery is an added advantage.
   3. Knowledge of Batch, Profibus, Foundation Fieldbus, Networking, Safety Systems, handling of Charms I/O, Proficient in Cybersecurity and knowledge on AMS will be preferred.
2. Interaction: Receives guidance from a mentor and collaborates with team members to complete assignments as needed. Also leads interactions with other sites and departments to achieve project objectives.
3. Customer Focus: Engages in increased customer interaction. Works collaboratively within a team and alongside a senior engineer when needed. Also capable of independently working with customers or the sales force to support project and business objectives.
4. Industry Awareness: Takes initiative to understand the industry landscape, including project execution, service offerings, EPM market trends, customer segments, and overall business requirements.
5. Providing Solutions: Receives directions from a Senior Service Engineer for small-scale service projects. Possesses a strong general knowledge base and is developing expertise in a specific service area. Holds or is pursuing relevant certifications and continues to build skills within the identified product and certification domain.
6. Improving the Process: Actively learns and applies process improvement methodologies. Participates in implementing process changes and contributes to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.
7. Desired Educational Qualification: B.E. / B. Tech (Instrumentation / ECE/ Electrical). Candidates with degrees in other engineering teams and experience in a similar field can be considered.

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

•  B.E. / B. Tech (Instrumentation / ECE/ Electrical). Candidates with degrees in other engineering subject areas and experience in a similar field can be considered. Incase of Diploma Engineer holding more than 10 years experience on DCS may also proffered.
