Job Descriptions

  • Coordination in preparation of the prequalification documents.
  • Coordination with the client for prequalification as a contractor.
  • Preparation for the project /client specific company presentation and providing presentation to the client.
  • Preparation of the tender data sheet and other tender enclosures including bill of quantities for the project.
  • Floating tender enquiry to get the market prices of the materials and negotiations.
  • Hands on knowledge in preparation of various documents during various stages of project cycle such as pre-qualification, tendering/bidding, project planning and procurement, monitoring claims during execution, preparation of project operation and maintenance contracts, and so on.
  • Prepare responses to queries raised by the contractor, and developing and managing a system for expediting responses to letters raised by contractor and related parties.
  • Responsible for internal reporting of all commercial and contractual issues
  • Ensure that the project has clear deliverables through handover meetings with the process team (estimating, design, commercial, procurement, plant and operations) and ensure monitoring/compliance.
  • Attending pre and post bid meetings.
  • Deriving the item rates for tender submission.
  • Attending negotiation meetings and providing data to seniors for negotiations.
  • Coordination with the clients regarding tenders, negotiation, award of job, agreement papers and finalization of contract documents etc.
  • Pre and post award interaction with client.
  • Preparation of budget cost of the project.
  • Preparing tendering and marketing report.
  • Preparing purchase reports.
  • Ensure claim and variation identification, documentation, and submission
  • Develop and sustain client relationships.

Requirements and skills

  • Bachelors degree in civil engineering
  • Minimum 4-8 years of experience
  • Relevant experience in the construction Industry
  • Leadership skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good knowledge of MSP, AutoCAD, Power Point, MS excel and MS word.
