Job Overview:

We are looking for a highly skilled and proactive Accounts Manager to lead our Finance & Accounts function. This role requires complete ownership of accounting, compliance, taxation, banking, and financial reporting for both domestic and international operations. The candidate should be able to lead from the front, manage a team smoothly, and independently handle audits, assessments, and scrutiny with various departments including GST, Income Tax, ROC, RBI, and Labour authorities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee end-to-end accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, branch accounts (domestic & international), and consolidation.
  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements, MIS reports, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Handle direct and indirect tax compliance – Income Tax, TDS, GST (filings, reconciliations, audits, and assessments).
  • Ensure compliance with ROC filings, RBI/FEMA regulations, labour laws (PF, ESIC, Professional Tax), bank reporting, and all monthly/annual statutory requirements.
  • Represent the company in audits, scrutiny, and hearings with Income Tax, GST, ROC, RBI, Labour, and other regulatory authorities.
  • Manage banking operations – fund flow, foreign remittances, loan compliance, and credit facilities.
  • Oversee international branch office compliances and ensure alignment with head office policies.
  • Develop and implement strong internal controls, accounting policies, and SOPs for smooth operations.
  • Supervise, mentor, and motivate the accounts & finance team, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
  • Provide strategic financial insights to management for decision-making, cost optimization, and business growth.
  • Handle any other work related to Accounts & Finance as assigned by management.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Professional qualification (Bcom mcom CA, CMA, CPA) strongly preferred.
  • Minimum [10] years of experience in Finance & Accounts, with at least [5] years in a leadership role.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of accounting standards, taxation (direct & indirect), ROC, RBI/FEMA, labour laws, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience in handling departmental scrutiny, audits, and regulatory inspections.
  • Strong leadership qualities with the ability to lead from the front and manage a team effectively.
  • Proficiency in accounting & ERP software (Tally, SAP, QuickBooks, Oracle, etc.).
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
