Role: Manager - Legal [Drafting and Litigations ]

Education: Law Graduate, PG/ MBA/ PGDM Law Plus

Job Location: Gurugram HR

Role & responsibilities:

  1. Drafting of various Contracts & Agreements pertaining to Legal and Litigation Management in Land Laws, NCDRC, State Consumer, RERA-Punjab/Haryana and Court Litigations
  2. Monitor review the drafting of Contract & Agreement related documents from a legal perspective and ensure minimal associated risks
  3. Review and redline contracts and other project legal documents from covered jurisdictions, assessing implications that need to be brought to the project team and managements attention.
  4. Reviewing, vetting, negotiating, and drafting a wide variety of client contracts including service agreements, partnership agreements, reseller agreements, Consultancy agreement, legal litigation document and other commercial contracts.
  5. Experience in different kinds of suits such as recovery, declaration, possession, and injunction.
  6. Reviewing vendor contracts such as purchase of goods and services, equipment lease agreements, subscriptions etc.
  7. Preparation of case comments, vetting and finalising the replies of various class of litigations, notices, as also police notices from Gurgaon/Haryana.
  8. Drafting and vetting of TPT and PTM of various banks and support CRM, draft various disclaimers for marketing team to be used in all type of Advertisements.
  9. Management and record keeping of Land & Revenue Docs and Land related agreements/ deeds. All land related transactions of Haryana, including appeal, writ etc. at Chandigarh High Court.
  10. Litigation management, appearing before the Judicial and Quasi Judicial Authority, briefing of Council, Advocates & Solicitors
  11. Legal correspondences, day to day legal support to other department of the company
  12. Keep records of all the cases not limited to tracking of court cases & agreements, legal compliance, checklist

Preferred candidate profile:

  • Corporate Legal and Litigation Management
  • Legal Research, Agreement / Contracts Drafting and Reviewing
  • Real Estate Laws, Court Case Representations
  • Liaison with Urban Development Authorities & RERA Regulations
  • Project Delivery & Liaison
  • Knowledge of legal provisions / statutory requirements related to the real estate/ construction industry
  • Knowledge of property, contract and commercial laws
  • Knowledge of international contracts and settlement advocacy
