Offset Machine Minder

The Offset Minder will be responsible for operating and maintaining offset printing machines to ensure high-quality print output. The role involves preparing printing plates, adjusting machine settings, monitoring production, and ensuring timely completion of printed materials.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate offset printing machines (single-color/multi-color) as per job requirements.
• Prepare printing plates, inks, rollers, and paper for each print job.
• Set up, adjust, and monitor the machine for accurate color registration and print quality.
• Conduct test runs and make necessary corrections to ensure high-quality output.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of the machine by performing routine maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve minor mechanical issues during operations.
• Ensure proper ink density, alignment, and print consistency throughout the job.
• Follow production schedules and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
• Maintain records of daily production, materials used, and machine performance.
• Adhere to safety standards and operational procedures within the printing unit.

Skills & Qualifications

• ITI / Diploma in Printing Technology or equivalent qualification.
• Strong technical knowledge of offset printing processes and machinery.
• Ability to handle different paper types, inks, and colour matching.
• Good understanding of machine settings, plate alignment, and print maintenance.
• Strong attention to detail and quality orientation.
• Basic troubleshooting and mechanical aptitude.

Experience

• 2–5 years of hands-on experience in operating offset printing machines.

(Experience in educational or commercial printing press is preferred.)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15, ₹20,000.00 per month
