Role Overview: We are looking for an experienced Procurement & Buying Manager to oversee the sourcing, vendor management, and buying of apparel and fashion products. The role requires strong market knowledge, vendor negotiation skills, and an eye for fashion trends to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement while maintaining quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute procurement and buying strategies for clothing and apparel.
  • Identify, evaluate, and manage vendors, suppliers, and manufacturers (domestic & international).
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and delivery timelines to ensure quality and cost efficiency.
  • Plan seasonal buying requirements in line with business and fashion trends.
  • Collaborate with design, merchandising, and retail teams to curate collections.
  • Monitor inventory, stock turnover, and product availability.
  • Ensure compliance with ethical sourcing, sustainability, and quality standards.
  • Conduct regular market research to identify new sourcing opportunities and analyze competitor activities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors/Masters degree in Fashion Management, Textile Technology, Supply Chain, or Business Administration.
  • Experience in procurement, buying, or sourcing in clothing/apparel/fashion industry.
  • Strong vendor network and knowledge of global sourcing markets.
  • Excellent negotiation, cost management, and analytical skills.
  • Good understanding of fabrics, apparel production, and fashion trends.
  • Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
