Job Description:

A Marketing Manager in the steel industry develops and executes marketing strategies to boost brand visibility, drive sales, and expand market share. This role involves market research, strategic planning, campaign management, and collaboration with sales teams. Key responsibilities include analyzing market trends, managing budgets, overseeing promotional activities, and building client relationships. 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Planning: Developing and implementing marketing strategies to achieve business objectives, including market penetration and revenue growth. 
     
  • Market Research: Conducting research to identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes. 
     
  • Campaign Management: Planning, executing, and monitoring marketing campaigns across various channels (e.g., digital, print, events). 
     
  • Sales Support: Providing sales teams with marketing materials, training, and support to effectively sell steel products. 
     
  • Brand Management: Ensuring consistent brand messaging and形象 across all marketing materials. 
     
  • Budget Management: Managing marketing budgets and allocating resources effectively. 
     
  • Performance Analysis: Tracking and analyzing marketing performance metrics to identify areas for improvement. 
     
  • Relationship Management: Building and maintaining relationships with clients, distributors, and industry stakeholders. 
     
  • Collaboration: Working closely with sales, product development, and other departments to align marketing efforts with overall business goals. 
     
  • Industry Knowledge: Staying up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and competitor activities. 
     
  • Communication: Effectively communicating marketing plans, performance, and insights to management and other stakeholders. 
     
  • Digital Marketing: Planning and executing digital marketing campaigns including social media, search engine optimization (SEO), and pay-per-click (PPC) advertising. 
     
  • Content Creation: Developing engaging marketing content such as brochures, website content, case studies, and presentations. 
     
  • Event Management: Planning and executing industry events, trade shows, and conferences. 
     
  • Lead Generation: Identifying and nurturing potential leads for the sales team. 
     
  • Customer Relationship Management (CRM): Utilizing CRM systems to manage customer interactions and track sales progress. 
     
  • Tender Management: Monitoring and responding to tenders for steel products. 
     
  • Sales Forecasting: Assisting in the development of sales forecasts. 
     
  • Negotiation: Participating in negotiations with customers and suppliers. 
     
  • Reporting: Preparing regular reports on marketing activities and performance. 
     


Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience in marketing, preferably within the steel industry.
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles, strategies, and tactics.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms.
  • Experience with CRM systems and salesforce automation.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
