Key Roles and Responsibilities1. Overall Plant Operations

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the batching plant to ensure smooth and uninterrupted production.
  • Plan and coordinate production schedules based on client orders and project requirements.
  • Ensure optimum utilization of plant capacity, manpower, and resources.
  • Oversee loading and dispatch of concrete to project sites as per schedule.

2. Quality Assurance & Control

  • Ensure that concrete produced meets required strength, consistency, and workability as per approved mix designs.
  • Coordinate closely with the Quality Control (QC) department to maintain quality standards.
  • Approve and monitor raw material quality (cement, aggregates, sand, admixtures, water, etc.).
  • Supervise cube testing, calibration of equipment, and mix proportion adjustments.

3. Maintenance & Equipment Management

  • Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance of all plant machinery and equipment.
  • Ensure that all batching plant components, loaders, conveyors, and mixers are in good working condition.
  • Coordinate with the maintenance team for timely servicing and repairs.
  • Maintain records of equipment breakdowns, maintenance schedules, and spares inventory.

4. Inventory & Material Management

  • Monitor and manage stock levels of raw materials, consumables, and fuel.
  • Coordinate with the purchase department for timely procurement of materials.
  • Ensure proper storage, handling, and minimal wastage of materials.
  • Maintain records of daily material consumption and production reports.

5. Manpower Supervision

  • Supervise and lead batching plant operators, drivers, helpers, and supporting staff.
  • Assign daily duties, monitor attendance, and ensure discipline among plant personnel.
  • Provide necessary training to operators and workers regarding safety and plant operations.
  • Promote teamwork and maintain a positive work environment.

6. Safety, Compliance & Housekeeping

  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols, PPE usage, and environmental norms at the plant.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and toolbox talks.
  • Ensure compliance with local statutory and environmental regulations.
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness across the plant premises.

7. Documentation & Reporting

  • Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production and dispatch reports.
  • Record material consumption, fuel usage, downtime, and maintenance logs.
  • Report operational performance, challenges, and achievements to senior management.
  • Maintain calibration certificates, test reports, and statutory documents.

8. Coordination & Communication

  • Act as the key point of contact between the plant, head office, and client/project teams.
  • Coordinate with project sites for delivery planning and feedback.
  • Handle customer complaints and ensure timely resolution of issues.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹35, ₹50,000.00 per month
