POSITION DESCRIPTION :

As a Tender Executive at TGPL, you will be responsible for identifying relevant tenders and filing them to maximize TGPL's business opportunities. You will be directly reporting to the Managing Director and the President of the company.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Tender Identification: Regularly search and track new tenders through government portals, company websites, and tender notifications.
  • Tender Documentation: Prepare and organize all technical and financial bid documents according to client or government specifications.
  • Bid Submission: Ensure timely submission of tenders, both online and offline, without missing deadlines.
  • Coordination: Work with various departments (technical, finance, legal, and management) to collect required data and approvals.
  • Compliance Check: Verify that all documents meet eligibility criteria, certifications, and formats as per tender requirements.
  • Costing & Quotation: Assist in preparing cost estimates, quotations, and pricing strategies.
  • Follow-Up: Track submitted tenders, communicate with clients or agencies for updates, and handle clarifications or revisions.
  • Record Management: Maintain an organized database of all tender-related documents and submissions for future reference.

EXPERIENCE.

  • 2-5 years in tendering and liaisoning roles, preferably in EPC, solar, infrastructure, or government contracting sectors.

SKILLS REQUIRED.

  • In-depth knowledge of government tendering process and e-procurement portals (GeM, CPPP, NTPC, BPCL, IOCL, PSU's, BHEL, MNRE, IREDA etc.)
  • Strong communication, persuasion, and interpersonal skills.
  • Good command over MS Office and tender documentation tools.
  • Fluency in English, Hindi, and local language.
  • Understanding of licensing, permits, and compliance requirements in solar/infrastructure projects.
