Senior Financial Analyst

The Role

We are looking for a highly specialized Senior Financial Analyst to join our Financial Analyst team of domain experts. This role is ideal for a finance domain expert from Sell-Side Research, Buy-Side Research, Investment Banking, Corporate Finance, or Investor Relations with deep sector expertise (e.g., Oil & Gas, Banking, Tech, Pharma etc.). The role is to assist our world-class software experts, AI researchers and product managers, to build the next generation of Generative AI (GenAI) features for market intelligence. You will join a team of financial analysts and data annotation specialists, collaborating directly with AI researchers and software experts. The financial analyst team serves as the critical bridge between complex financial domain knowledge and our Engineering teams, translating real-world user expectations into measurable AI quality metrics. This is a high-impact opportunity to directly influence the performance of AI products used by finance professionals globally.

Note: We are looking for candidates with expertise producing high-quality research reports. This is not an accounting, or a routine financial reporting role.

Requirements:

• MBA/Masterss degree in finance, or a related field.
• CA/CFA (all 3 levels cleared) will also be considered.
• Exceptional understanding of financial concepts and data.
• 5+ years of professional experience in a highly analytical financial analyst role such as Sell-Side Research, Buy-Side Research, Investment Banking, Corporate Finance, Investor Relations or Management Consultant
• 3+ years of experience writing financial research reports or preparing IB pitchbooks.
• Demonstrated sector expertise in covering a specific domain (e.g., Oil and Gas, Banking/Financials, Technology, Healthcare).
• Exceptional understanding of financial statements, valuation methodologies, market data, and regulatory filings within your covered sector.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in a cross-functional environment, and can communicate to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills. Ability to synthesize complex information into clear insights and recommendations.
• Project Management skills like problem solving, time management, prioritization, adaptability, research skills & quality Management.
• Proficient in workplace productivity tools such as GSuite and MS office.

Responsibilities:

• Curate and optimize workflow prompts and inputs that are used directly by end-users in the financial sector.
• Take end-to-end ownership of all AI feature evaluations, leveraging your financial domain expertise to ensure the quality, relevance, and fidelity of all outputs.
• Develop and refine the evaluation methodology and internal quality benchmarks, specifically tailored to financial data and sector-specific scenarios.
• Translate complex financial user expectations and industry practices into clear, quantifiable metrics for the Engineering and Product teams.
• Provide the critical end-user perspective for AI feature testing and refinement across complex financial workflows.
• Analyze how customers use our platform to identify opportunities for product improvements and new AI model applications.
• Work with Product Managers and AI Researchers to ideate, test and refine various Generative AI projects.

• Comprehend and analyze various financial documents (including earnings calls, US SEC and global filings, broker research documents, expert calls, news and regulatory content),
• Understand and summarize financial information from diverse sources to extract important details and gain key insights
• Review and mentor junior team members on financial domain accuracy and quality standards.
