Key Responsibilities

  • Manage GST compliance registrations, returns, reconciliations, and filings.
  • Handle Customs, Excise, VAT (if applicable) and other indirect tax matters.
  • Provide advisory support on GST implications for business transactions.
  • Represent the company in tax audits, assessments, and litigation.
  • Monitor changes in IDT laws and evaluate business impact.
  • Ensure proper documentation for refund claims, input tax credit, and trade compliances.
  • Collaborate with finance, legal, and business teams to ensure tax accuracy in contracts and transactions.
  • Support in preparing management reports, tax MIS, and dashboards.

Required Qualifications

  • Chartered Accountant (CA Qualified).
  • 3–7 years of post-qualification experience in Indirect Taxation (IDT).
  • Strong knowledge of GST laws, Customs, Excise, and other indirect taxes.
  • Familiarity with tax litigation procedures and regulatory requirements.

Skills & Competencies

  • Excellent understanding of tax laws & compliance frameworks.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities under strict deadlines.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and MS Office.
