About the Role: Sr. Personnel Finance

Objective: The candidate will direct and control all Accounts & Finance related operations of the organization to ensure that commercial objectives are met efficiently and effectively. Responsibilities include directing and controlling operation related activities to ensure efficient and effective utilisation and projection of funds.

Report to: Director – RPG Foundation and Group Head - Taxation

Banking Accounting / Books Conducting risk management. Evaluating and initiating investments. MIS & Taxation Legal & Statutory Compliance Allocating resources and managing finances. Recommending cost reduction strategies

Synopsis of Responsibilities

  1. Actively contribute to organizational discussions and strategic decision-making at senior management and Board level, based on up-to-date information from the accounting system, and forward-looking projections of financial performance.

  2. Provide advice and support to inform decision-making at project level including quarterly and monthly reports to aid financial understanding.

  3. Prepare financial reports for specific major grants and projects to support project and team leaders, as well as on specific lines of activity as required by the leadership.

  4. Support the development of major contracts, agreements and grant budgets, including advising on VAT considerations, during project design and ahead of signature, and support budget reviews of such contracts at key reporting milestones.

  5. Lead the annual organizational budget development process. Manage the finance system and take responsibility for finance policies. Take overall responsibility for the development and maintenance of organizational administration procedures. Coordinate the policy review process.

  6. Work with service providers to deliver an accurate and timely financial service, including the preparation and monitoring of:
    • monthly management accounts
    • forecasts and cash flow analysis
    • VAT returns
    • bank reconciliations and journals processing
    • payroll & benefits 7. Manage the annual audit including year-end procedures and accounts in conjunction with the statutory auditors to ensure annual accounts are produced within the required deadlines and regulatory framework.

  7. Manage the treasury function including payments, transfers, and credit control.

  8. Conduct Board meetings, ensuring minute and follow up, including taking responsibility for statutory reporting and compliance with charity and company requirements. 10. Contribute to the leadership and management as a member of the management team and inspiring the whole organization to achieve goals. Desired candidate profile

Qualification – CA / Equivalent Degree Exp – 08 – 12 yrs Proven experience as a head of finance or a similar position. Complete understanding of financial management and accounting. Knowledge of accounting software. Strong analytical and decision- making abilities. Effective leadership qualities. Strategic leadership, drive for results and management skills. High level of integrity. Familiarity with the working environment and professional standards of large high grade nonprofit organizations will be of added advantage. Strong communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹2,200,000.00 per year
