Key Responsibilities
:

Accounting Entries & Transactions

  • Record and maintain Sales entries in the accounting system.
  • Process payment and receipt entries accurately and on time.
  • Handle cash transactions and maintain daily cash records.
  • Manage bank payments and ensure timely vendor settlements.

Reconciliation & Reporting

  • Conduct bank reconciliation monthly to ensure accuracy of financial data.
  • Perform stock tallying on a monthly basis.
  • Tally petty cash daily and ensure proper documentation.
  • Reconcile sundry creditors and debtors ledgers periodically.

Statutory Compliance

  • Calculate and file GST returns monthly.
  • Handle TDS payments and quarterly TDS return filing.
  • Manage ESI calculation and payment on a monthly basis.
  • Compute and process Professional Tax calculations and payments.

Administrative & Coordination

  • Maintain office files and accounting documentation systematically.
  • Coordinate with the company's auditors for income tax filing and related documentation.

Requirements:

  • 2 years of experience in accounting and compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, ESI, and other statutory requirements.
  • Proficiency in Tally / accounting software and MS Excel.
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work independently.
