OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE

As a Senior Data Engineering Manager, you will be leading teams focusing on data engineering, data science, AI / ML model development works. You will also facilitate the team members' growth. You will play a key techno-leadership role, ensuring the data technology platforms are built and maintained to the data product functional and non-functional needs. You will be collaborating with the data technology leadership of Sisal and Flutter SEA region.

KEY RESPONSIBILITES

• Join the team of Data and AI and in the business / management Data, AI & CRM reporting directly to Director of Data AI & CRM Systems

• Have the opportunity to be involved in a wide range of projects leveraging Data & AI to improve processes and products by managing the local team of Data Scientists and ML Engineers, Generative AI experts. Specifically, your activity will be managing the HYD teams in synergy with the Data, AI and DWH Flutter teams.

• Actively engage in techno-leadership conversations with multiple leaders in data technology community of Flutter SEA region.

• Mentor, guide and facilitate career growth for the team members in data technology, data science, AI/ML engineering teams in Hyderabad.

• Join the larger community of data technology in Flutter Entertainment India, Hyderabad and support initiatives to build data technology COE for Flutter Entertainment in Hyderabad.

TO EXCEL IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED TO HAVE

• Proven experience in in mentoring and developing AI & engineering leaders and senior engineers.

• A degree in Engineering, Statistics, Computer Engineering, Science or related topics

• Previous experience in building advanced platforms leveraging Cloud technologies (preferably AWS and Azure), enabling smooth integration, continuous evolution, and standardized adoption of AI and Machine Learning across organizations.

• Excellent knowledge of Data and AI technologies, event driven and real time data analytics environments, development for real time low latency applications, Generative AI Cloud Frameworks and Prompt/Flow/Agent Engineering

• Ability to work in a team with an international environment.

• Strong and demonstrated expertise in managing Data/AI/ML teams and delivering results in a fast-paced environment.

• Fluency English is required, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
