Scientific Mes Technik Pvt Ltd.
is seeking an
EMI/EMC Application Engineer
to serve as the primary technical resource for our dynamic sales team in
Indore
. This role requires a blend of deep technical expertise in EMI/EMC standards and testing methodologies , combined with excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Sales Support:
    Act as the subject matter expert during the sales cycle. This includes presenting product capabilities, conducting technical demonstrations, and answering complex customer inquiries about EMI/EMC testing, standards (e.g., CISPR16, MIL-STD 461, DO-160), and compliance requirements.

  • Customer Consultation:
    Work closely with customers to understand their specific EMC testing challenges and regulatory environments, recommending the optimal product configurations and solutions.

  • Product Expertise:
    Maintain an in-depth understanding of our entire EMC product line, competitive offerings, and emerging technologies/standards in the EMI/EMC field.

  • Training & Documentation:
    Develop and deliver technical training (internal and external) and create application notes, technical papers, presentations, and product comparisons to support sales and marketing.

  • Solution Development:
    Collaborate with Product Management and R&D teams to provide market feedback and define future product requirements.

  • Post-Sale Support:
    Assist with initial installation, setup, and advanced troubleshooting.

  • Travel:
    PAN India level.


Required Qualifications

  • Education:
    Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical field. A Master's degree is a plus.
  • Experience:
    Minimum
    5+ years
    of hands-on experience in EMI/EMC testing, chamber operation, anechoic/reverberation chamber validation, and troubleshooting test setup issues.
  • Technical Skills:
    Strong knowledge of global and regional EMI/EMC standards (e.g., CISPR, IEC, MIL 461, ISO
  • Proficiency with RF test equipment (e.g., Spectrum Analyzers, EMI Receivers, Signal Generators, Power Amplifiers).

  • Familiarity with EMC test automation software and data analysis.

  • Soft Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong presentation and customer-facing skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in a Field Application Engineer (FAE) or technical sales support role.
  • Experience with RF component design (e.g., filters, shielding materials) or system-level integration.
