Overview

We are looking for a Java Developer experienced in Camunda BPM for workflow automation and process orchestration projects. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Java development, BPMN modeling, and microservices, along with hands-on experience integrating Camunda into enterprise applications. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining business process workflows and automation solutions that improve efficiency and scalability across business operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy BPMN workflows using Camunda Platform.
  • Develop Java-based microservices that integrate with Camunda engine and process APIs.
  • Implement workflow orchestration, business rules, and event-driven architecture.
  • Work closely with business analysts to translate process requirements into executable models.
  • Optimize and maintain process performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • Integrate Camunda workflows with external systems using REST APIs, Kafka.
  • Perform unit testing, debugging, and version control using Git or similar tools.
  • Create technical documentation and support deployment activities.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5–7 years of hands-on experience in Java / J2EE development.
  • Experience with Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and Microservices architecture.
  • Good knowledge of Camunda APIs (Java, REST) and workflow configuration.
  • Familiarity with process automation, event-driven systems, and service orchestration.
  • Experience with databases (MySQL, Oracle).
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
