Experience & Qualifications

  • Experience: 4-8 years in EHS roles, preferably within manufacturing, industrial, or project-driven sectors.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Engineering, or related field. Advanced diploma or certifications like, IOSH, ISO 14001/45001 lead auditor are a plus. Knowledge of Firefighting systems will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

EHS & Project Oversight

  • Assist in developing and implementing EHS policies, procedures, and systems across operations and projects.
  • Conduct regular inspections, audits, risk assessments (HIRA), and facility reviews to ensure compliance and early hazard detection.
  • Oversee incident investigations, root-cause analyses, corrective action implementation, and tracking.

Sustainability & Environmental Performance

  • Support sustainability initiatives including energy, water, and waste reduction aligned with ESG goals.
  • Track and contribute to environmental metrics—emissions, waste generation, resource consumption—and recommend improvements.

Training, Culture & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Develop and deliver training programs on EHS protocols, hazard identification, PPE usage, and emergency response.
  • Organize fire drills, safety campaigns, toolbox talks, committee meetings, and promote a proactive safety culture.

Compliance & Documentation

  • Ensure adherence to local, state, and national environmental, health, and safety regulations.
  • Maintain comprehensive EHS documentation: inspection logs, incident reports, training records, sustainability reports, etc.

Project Coordination

  • Integrate EHS and sustainability considerations into project planning and execution phases.
  • Work closely with project managers, contractors, cross-functional teams & other stake holders to align EHS and environmental goals with project timelines.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of EHS systems, regulatory frameworks, risk assessment, and incident management.
  • Proficiency in sustainability concepts and ability to drive ESG-related objectives.
  • Excellent communication—written and verbal—to deliver effective training and engage stakeholders.
  • Analytical mindset: able to maintain records, derive insights from data, and deliver corrective actions effectively.
  • Having firm belief that All Accidents are preventable.
  • Have a learning attitude.
