The EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) Officer will be responsible for implementing, monitoring, and maintaining all EHS standards in compliance with legal regulations and company policies within the Printing and Packaging industry. The officer will work closely with all departments to ensure a safe and environmentally responsible workplace.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop, implement, and monitor EHS policies, procedures, and guidelines in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct risk assessments and hazard identification related to printing and packaging operations.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and national safety regulations, including pollution control and waste management norms.
- Train employees on EHS policies, emergency response procedures, and safe operating practices.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify unsafe conditions and recommend corrective actions.
- Investigate workplace incidents, accidents, and near-misses; prepare reports and suggest preventive measures.
- Monitor waste disposal and hazardous material handling as per environmental guidelines.
- Coordinate fire safety drills, first-aid training, and emergency preparedness programs.
- Maintain records and documentation related to EHS compliance, incidents, and training sessions.
- Work with management to develop and implement sustainability and environmental protection programs.
- Liaise with regulatory authorities for compliance reporting and inspections.

**Required Qualifications & Skills**:

- Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field.
- Minimum of **4-5 years of experience** in an EHS role, preferably in the **printing & packaging industry**.
- Strong knowledge of **industrial safety regulations, pollution control norms, and hazardous waste management**.
- Experience with **ISO 14001 & ISO 45001** standards is preferred.
- Proficiency in conducting **risk assessments, audits, and training programs**.
- Good communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle EHS compliance documentation and liaise with authorities.

**Work Environment & Conditions**:

- Factory/plant environment with exposure to printing machinery, chemicals, and packaging materials.
- Regular site inspections and compliance monitoring activities.
- Travel as required for audits and regulatory meetings

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
