Job Description: API Developer (Spring Boot) Contract Duration: 1 Year Location: Chennai Experience: 6-9 Years Notice Period: Immediate to 15 Days Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced API Developer with expertise in Spring Boot to join our team for a one-year contract. The ideal candidate will have 6-9 years of experience in API development, and a deep understanding of Spring Boot framework to design and build robust, scalable APIs. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using Spring Boot.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers, designers, and other stakeholders to integrate APIs.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
  • Ensure the performance, security, and scalability of applications.
  • Implement best practices in API development and ensure the APIs are well-documented.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize API performance and fix any issues that arise.
  • Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
  • Ensure timely delivery of projects in an agile development environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Strong experience in API development using Spring Boot.
  • Proficiency in Java programming language.
  • Hands-on experience in building scalable and high-performance RESTful services.
  • Familiarity with database management and design (SQL, NoSQL).
  • Solid understanding of design patterns and best practices for REST APIs.
  • Experience with Swagger or similar API documentation tools.
  • Good understanding of version control systems like Git.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with microservices architecture.
  • Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD practices.
Notice Period: Immediate to 15 days.
