JOB TITLE: Project Manager

LOCATION:MUMBAI

EXPERIENE:10 TO 16 YEARS

Notice :immediate to 60 days

Technical Skill;

  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience: Extensive experience in project management, especially in substation or renewable energy projects.
  • Technical Knowledge: Working knowledge of electrical utility systems, policies, and procedures.
  • Methodologies: Strong grasp of PM methodologies (risk management, cost control, scheduling).
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder management.
  • Leadership: Proven leadership ability in developing and managing teams.
  • EHV Substation experience is mandatory above 66KV

Key responsibility.:

  • Project Planning & Financial Alignment: Develop and execute project plans (including schedules/bar charts) ensuring activities are aligned with revenue and collection targets.
  • External Stakeholder and Land Management: Manage relationships with clients, government officials, and external stakeholders, specifically coordinating with entities (like forest, revenue, and private parties) for land clearance and necessary approvals.
  • Logistics and Resource Oversight: Oversee logistics and material management to ensure the timely delivery of all required project resources.
  • Inter-departmental Coordination: Manage internal coordination and movement to ensure work is completed efficiently and according to the execution plan.
  • Team Development & Leadership: Build, develop, and lead a high-performing team of managers and engineers to ensure successful project execution and prevent time/cost overruns.
  • Comprehensive Project Oversight: Provide oversight across all project functions, including engineering, quality control, budgeting, MIS, and project coordination.
  • Advanced Planning and Risk Management: Develop and implement effective planning, scheduling, and monitoring systems, including applying advanced techniques and managing project costs and risks proactively.
  • Commercial and Technical Evaluation: Evaluate commercial proposals for site activities and maintain technical expertise in electrical utility systems, standards, and drafting/negotiating EPC proposals.
  • Strategic Initiatives and Studies: Lead strategic planning, conduct pre-feasibility studies, market studies, and technology evaluations/transfer to assess opportunities.
  • Policy and Compliance Implementation: Implement and maintain EPC policies, and ensure the site-level implementation of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Series (OHSAS), while regularly reporting progress and hurdles to top management.
