Accountant / Finance Executive

Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintain full-cycle bookkeeping for operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries.
  • Prepare accurate financial statements in accordance with IFRS/SFRS.
  • Ensure timely regulatory and tax compliance, including GST, corporate tax filings, and other statutory obligations.
  • Handle financial controls, reconciliations, and reporting independently.
  • Maintain and update internal trackers, financial records, and reports with accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Liaise with stakeholders, banks, and regulatory authorities as required.

Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of IFRS/SFRS and accounting & tax regulations.
  • Experience in bookkeeping, financial reporting, and compliance.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in accounting software (Eg, Xero, Zoho) and MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • ACCA, CPA (Semi qualified/ Qualified)
  • Experience with financial services or cross-border operations is a plus.
