Role & responsibilities

  • Create comprehensive audio-visual solutions that combine various hardware and software components, ensuring seamless operation as a unified system that meets customers' specific needs and expectations.
  • Support the architecture, installation, and planning processes for audio, video, and control solutions, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
  • Evaluate the capabilities and compatibility of available AV devices and software options, recommending the most suitable technologies for each project.
  • Work closely with engineers, architects, and product managers to translate conceptual ideas into detailed technical drawings and specifications.
  • Ensure all designs adhere to brand guidelines, maintaining a consistent visual identity across different projects and materials.
  • Incorporate feedback from team members and clients to refine designs, ensuring high-quality output and customer satisfaction.
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest advancements in AV technology, design trends, tools, and software updates to continuously improve design quality.

Requirements

  • Any degree in a relevant field (Engineering, Design, or related disciplines preferred).
  • 3+ years of experience as a CAD engineer, with at least 1 year in a design role specifically related to AV systems.
  • Proficiency in CAD drawing tools, such as SketchUp and AutoCAD, and familiarity with AVIXA Standards on AV system design.
  • Strong analytical abilities to solve complex technical problems and recommend effective design solutions.
  • Ability to produce precise technical drawings and ensure quality standards are met.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and clients.
