Job Description: NAPS Trainee – CNC/VMC Machine Operator

Position: NAPS Trainee – CNC/VMC Machine Operator

Department: Production / Manufacturing

Location: Bommasandra, Jigani

Qualification: ITI (Fitter/Turner/Machinist)

Experience: Freshers eligible (training will be provided)

Role Summary

We are looking for NAPS (National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme) trainees to support CNC/VMC machine operations in our manufacturing unit. Candidates will be trained to operate, monitor, and maintain CNC/VMC machines as per production requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in operating CNC/VMC machines as per instructions.
  • Load raw materials, set workpieces, and basic machine preparation.
  • Follow machining drawings, process sheets, and job instructions.
  • Measure components using Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge, etc.
  • Maintain cleanliness and 5S around the machine area.
  • Report deviations, tool wear, or machine issues to supervisors.
  • Ensure safety procedures and PPE compliance at all times.
  • Complete daily production records and training logs.
