This is a remote position.

Role Overview

We are hiring an experienced Proposal Specialist to prepare end to end RFP responses for custom application development projects for US and Canadian government agencies as well as commercial clients. The candidate must be able to independently create technical, functional, and compliance driven responses without training.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, analyze, and respond to custom development RFPs across federal, state, provincial, municipal, and commercial portals

• Prepare full proposal content including technical approaches, project plans, methodologies, work breakdown structures, compliance matrices, resumes, and submission forms

• Write clear, structured technical content for web and mobile development, cloud engineering, AI, UX, QA, DevOps, and SDLC methodologies

• Coordinate with engineering, design, product management, and leadership for inputs when needed

• Ensure 100 % accuracy of documents, formatting, version control, reference materials, and submission packages

• Own deadline management, requirement evaluation, and final portal submissions

• Track all active RFPs and maintain an organized proposal library

• 4 to 5+ years of experience preparing government RFPs for custom application development

• Proven experience in a custom software development or IT services company

• Ability to independently write technical and functional sections without training or rewriting

• Familiarity with public sector procurement structures, mandatory requirements, pricing templates, and compliance rules

• Strong writing skills for technical solutioning, project methodologies, case studies, and compliance matrices

• Hands on experience with submission portals such as , Merx, Ariba, Buyandsell, and state portals

• Exceptional organizational and document management skills
