Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Biomedical Engineer based in Hyderabad, with the option to work from home for specific tasks. The Biomedical Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining medical equipment, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and collaborating with healthcare practitioners to improve device performance. Additional duties include performing equipment testing, troubleshooting technical issues, and providing technical support and training to end-users.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of Biomedical Engineering principles, healthcare technologies, and medical equipment development
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting, testing, and maintaining medical devices
  • Skills in technical documentation, compliance standards, and quality assurance
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams
  • Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Medical Electronics, or a related field
  • Experience in the critical care or healthcare equipment sector is a plus
  • Familiarity with regulatory standards such as IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission) guidelines is advantageous
