As a Welder (Ferro-alloys) in Raipur, you'll join and repair metal parts in a ferro-alloys manufacturing environment, using various welding techniques and following safety protocols to ensure quality and safety.

Responsibilities:

  • Welding Techniques:
    Perform various welding techniques such as Stick (SMAW), MIG (Metal Inert Gas), or TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) welding, depending on the specific project and requirements. 


  • Material Preparation:
    Prepare metal components for welding by cutting, grinding, and cleaning them. 


  • Blueprint Interpretation:
    Interpret blueprints, drawings, and measurements to plan and execute welding tasks. 


  • Equipment Maintenance:
    Inspect and maintain welding equipment, ensuring it's in good working order. 


  • Quality Control:
    Assess welded surfaces, structures, and components to identify any defects. 


  • Safety Compliance:
    Follow and enforce strict safety regulations, including wearing appropriate safety gear (heat-resistant gloves, masks, and shoes). 


  • Troubleshooting:
    Troubleshoot any problems that may arise during the welding process. 


  • Material Handling:
    Handle and store various metal types and welding consumables in a safe and organized manner. 



Requirements:

  • Skills:
    • Proficient in various welding techniques. 
       
    • Strong understanding of metal properties and welding processes. 
       
    • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. 
       
    • Experience with MIG and TIG welding is a plus. 
       
    • Knowledge of quality control and inspection procedures. 
       



  • Qualifications:
    • Completion of a welding trade program or equivalent experience.
