Inviting applications for the role of Sr. Principal Consultant - SAP Techno Functional Architect_PP_Plant Maintenance

We are looking for a Senior SAP Techno-Functional Architect with deep expertise in SAP Production Planning (PP) and Plant Maintenance (PM) modules, capable of leading the design, configuration, and technical development of complex SAP solutions. The ideal candidate will possess both functional depth and technical capabilities (ABAP debugging, enhancements, custom developments) and will play a pivotal role in driving end-to-end solution architecture across manufacturing and asset management processes.
This position requires cross-functional collaboration, leadership in S/4HANA transformation projects, and a hands-on approach to delivering enterprise-scale solutions..
Responsibilities
S4 Hana certification mandatory. 
Solution Architecture & Design

•    Define and lead the end-to-end solution architecture for SAP PP and PM modules in ECC and/or S/4HANA environments.

•    Translate business requirements into detailed functional and technical specifications.

•    Guide configuration and development efforts to support Make-to-Stock (MTS), Make-to-Order (MTO), capacity planning, preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and calibration processes.

•    Provide technical leadership for all RICEFW objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Workflows).

•    Ensure alignment with industry best practices, SAP Activate methodology, and clean core principles.
Functional Expertise – PP

•    Support end-to-end Production Planning processes:
o    Material Requirements Planning (MRP)
o    Production Orders & Process Orders
o    Work Center/Resource Management
o    Capacity Evaluation
o    Shop Floor Execution
o    Batch Management & Serialization
o    Integration with MES systems
Functional Expertise – PM

•    Lead solution design for Plant Maintenance:
o    Maintenance Planning & Scheduling
o    Work Orders & Notifications
o    Equipment & Functional Location Management
o    Breakdown & Preventive Maintenance
o    Refurbishment Process
o    Maintenance Cost Tracking
o    Integration with IoT and condition-based monitoring (optional)
Technical Leadership

•    Collaborate with ABAP team on custom developments and enhancements (BADIs, User Exits, Enhancements).

•    Debug ABAP programs and guide performance optimization.

•    Work with Fiori/UI5 consultants for PM and PP-based custom applications and mobile solutions.

•    Oversee data migration strategy for master and transactional data using tools like LSMW, BODS, or SAP Migration Cockpit.
Cross-Module Integration

•    Ensure seamless integration with modules such as MM, SD, QM, FI/CO, and WM/EWM.

•    Coordinate with Basis and Security teams for role design and system performance.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

•    At least 3 full-cycle SAP implementations, including one in S/4HANA.

•    Deep understanding of discrete and process manufacturing processes.

•    Hands-on experience in:
o    SAP configuration for PP and PM
o    ABAP debugging and technical design
o    Enhancement techniques (User Exits, BADIs, Enhancements)
o    Workflow design and integration

•    Experience with Preventive/Corrective Maintenance, MRP, Capacity Planning, Scheduling, and Order Execution
Knowledge of Fiori apps, UI5, and mobile enablement for PM/PP________________________________________
Minimum Qualifications

•    Graduation\: B.Tech/B.E, MBA/MCA

Preferred Qualifications

•    The candidate must be a self-starter, capable of multitasking and efficiently manage their time in a multifaceted environment with demanding deadlines while requiring minimal levels of supervision.

•    Additionally, the candidate must possess excellent writing, speaking, analytical, project management, organizational, teamwork, and customer service skills that will assist them in identifying solutions to sophisticated security problems

•    Ability to deliver high quality and reliable software by collaborating with team. Outstanding analytical skills, ability to apply expertise to drive sophisticated, technical and highly commercial solutions. Possess good verbal and written communication skills.

•    SAP Certification in S/4HANA – Manufacturing or Asset Management

•    Exposure to SAP Digital Manufacturing, SAP Asset Intelligence Network, or SAP Predictive Maintenance

•    Experience with MES integration and IoT use cases for plant maintenance

•    Knowledge of Agile delivery frameworks (Scrum, SAFe)

•    Familiarity with SAP Solution Manager or SAP Signavio for process mapping
