Position Overview:
The Regional Product Manager – TCL will be responsible for driving the growth, profitability, and market leadership of Temperature Controlled Logistics (TCL) across the assigned region. This role demands strong strategic thinking, commercial acumen, and leadership capabilities to own the TCL product portfolio regionally while aligning with national product strategies. The position will serve as the regional custodian for TCL, ensuring effective go-to-market execution, customer engagement, and cross-functional collaboration.
Job Purpose:
To lead the development, execution, and performance of TCL product strategy in the assigned region, ensuring revenue growth, market expansion, customer satisfaction, and profitability. The role bridges strategic vision and operational excellence by translating national TCL objectives into impactful regional outcomes.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
Strategic & Regional Product Ownership
- Own and drive TCL product performance across the region, ensuring alignment with national strategies.
- Develop and implement regional TCL business plans, incorporating customer insights, competitor intelligence, and market trends.
- Define regional growth opportunities, industry focus areas, and execution roadmaps.
Revenue Growth & Market Expansion
- Achieve and exceed TCL revenue and yield targets in the region.
- Identify, acquire, and grow large regional accounts and industry segments.
- Collaborate with regional sales teams to design and implement TCL-focused acquisition and retention strategies.
- Actively support and close regional and strategic contract negotiations.
Marketing, Branding & Client Engagement
- Drive execution of regional TCL marketing and promotional campaigns.
- Partner with Marketing Communications to strengthen product visibility through regional events, campaigns, and industry forums.
- Position Blue Dart TCL as a trusted partner for regional clients through consultative engagement and industry thought leadership.
Pricing & Compliance
- Ensure strict adherence to TCL pricing guidelines and profitability standards across the region.
- Provide inputs for regional pricing strategies aligned with customer potential and competitive landscape.
Performance Management & Continuous Improvement
- Track, analyze, and report TCL product performance metrics at the regional level.
- Gather feedback from customers and sales teams to refine strategies and execution.
- Identify and share best practices across regions to enhance TCL delivery and customer satisfaction.
Service Quality & Operations Coordination
- Collaborate closely with the Operations team to ensure seamless execution of TCL services and maintain 100% service quality.
- Monitor service performance metrics, address operational bottlenecks proactively, and drive continuous improvements.
Qualifications & Experience:
Education
- Graduate in any discipline. B.Sc is preferred.
Experience
- 5–7 years of experience in logistics and cold chain industry.
Skills & Capabilities:
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of supply chain, logistics, and temperature-controlled solutions.
- Commercial acumen in pricing, budgeting, and financial modelling.
- Proficiency in data analysis, forecasting, and CRM tools.
