About the Role

We are looking for a Knitted Garments Lab Technician to join our quality and testing team. The role is open to freshers as well as candidates with 1–3 years of experience. The ideal candidate will have a BSc in Chemistry and will be responsible for performing fabric and garment tests, ensuring product quality, and assisting in lab-related activities for knitted garments.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct quality tests on knitted fabrics and finished garments as per company standards.
  • Perform chemical and physical tests to assess fabric strength, colorfastness, shrinkage, and other parameters.
  • Maintain detailed records of lab results and test reports.
  • Assist in preparing lab dips, samples, and reports for production and quality teams.
  • Ensure lab equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.
  • Support the quality team in troubleshooting fabric and garment issues.

Experience & Qualifications

  • BSc in Chemistry.
  • 1–3 years of experience in a textile/garments lab is preferred but freshers can also apply.
  • Basic knowledge of textile testing, especially for knitted fabrics.
  • Attention to detail and good analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in a team and follow lab safety protocols.
