Job Description

  • Self-driven – takes up new responsibilities in new areas and suggests/implements the best possible approach to complete them
  • Communication skills – Written, Verbal and Oral (English)
  • Sound knowledge of Financial Planning and Analysis and Financial Accounting
  • Knowledge of IFRS, accounting standard for revenue recognition will be an added advantage.
  • Should be hands of experience in ERP (Preferable)
  • Should be a good team player
  • Proficient at analysis leading to suggestions/recommendations for improvement
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office specifically Excel and ability to automate reports required for analysis
  • Excellent interpersonal skills – dealing with Controllers and Project Managers to ensure execution of task

Primary Skills

  • Monthly Revenue Reporting and analysis.
  • Review of Revenue recognition related compliance as per applicable accounting standards and group policies.
  • WIP/(BIA) Risk identification.
  • Managing and optimize revenue reporting related process and system.
  • Work with revenue team in developing and implementing revenue reporting related initiatives.
  • Review of month-on-month revenue variance with forecast.
  • Review and propose WIP(BIA)/ Bad debts provisions.
  • publishing of Revenue reports on (weekly/monthly basis).
  • liaison with Finance controllers for Revenue related queries.
  • Handle Statutory and Internal audit for Revenue.
  • Co-ordinate with Finance controllers, Revenue team and Auditors

Secondary Skills

  • CA qualified.

Operating as a Finance specialist supporting small and medium sized Accounts and Clients. Able to act on their own initiative with respect to the main perimeter of their role. Knows when to seek guidance/escalateAble to organize development for self and junior team member.
