Position: Program Officer [FOR CANDIDATES IN MUMBAI ONLY]

Location: Mumbai, India

Relevant Sectors: Program Management; Gender; Youth; Masculinity

What you will do:

1] Program Implementation

  • Engage with Mumbai based colleges for the mobilization of underprivileged youth

  • To interact with young people, inspire them to be Change-makers and Gender Advocates

  • To develop an engagement strategy for building a community of young people

  • Organize trainings in Masculinity and Gender and Active Citizenship

2] Documentation

  • Write short reports

  • Stories of Change

  • Data compilation in Excel

3] Communications

  • Find messages and videos of interest to youth

  • Form What's App Groups and engage them with information

Skills and Qualifications:

  • A graduate in Social Work or Social Sciences

  • Computer skills, especially Excel and Internet savvy

  • Commitment to fight for a social cause

  • Ease of communication in Marathi and/or Hindi and English

  • Good English written communication skills

  • 1 year experience of taking trainings and managing programs

Salary:

  • According to Social Work college scales, experience and educational qualifications.
