Position Overview

A Junior Accountant is responsible for supporting the finance and accounts department with day-to-day accounting tasks, data entry, documentation, and basic financial reporting. The role ensures accuracy in financial records, assists in audits, and helps maintain proper accounting procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Record daily financial transactions in accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, ERP).
  • Maintain and update ledgers, journals, and supporting documents.
  • Assist in preparing invoices, purchase orders, and payment vouchers.
  • Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable entries.
  • Reconcile bank statements and vendor statements regularly.
  • Support monthly and annual closing processes.
  • Assist in preparing GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance data.
  • Maintain proper filing of financial documents and ensure data accuracy.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors for payment and billing queries.
  • Support senior accountants and finance managers in audits and financial reporting.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
  • Familiarity with Tally ERP, MS Excel, and accounting software.
  • Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work under supervision and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications (Optional)

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in accounting.
  • Knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.
  • Experience in ERP systems or advanced Excel.

Working Conditions

  • Full-time office-based role.
  • Typically 10–7 shift
  • Coordination with finance team, vendors, and internal departments.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20, ₹30,000.00 per month
