Job Overview

We are seeking a talented Human Resource Manager to join our dynamic team at MCE Consulting Engineers Pvt Ltd. This is a full-time, mid-level position located in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will bring a minimum of 4 years of experience to help manage HR initiatives that support our growing organization. The role demands an individual who is proficient in both strategic and operational HR functions.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Talent Acquisition (Mandatory skill): Experience in identifying, attracting, and hiring top talent to meet the company's current and future staffing needs.
  • Labor Law Compliance (Mandatory skill): Thorough understanding of labor laws and regulations to ensure company compliance and avoid legal issues.
  • Conflict Resolution (Mandatory skill): Expertise in mediating conflicts and implementing strategies to resolve issues effectively among employees.
  • HRIS (Human Resource Information Systems): Proficient in using HR software to manage employee data, payroll, and recruitment processes efficiently.
  • Employee Engagement Strategies: Ability to develop and implement programs to boost employee morale, satisfaction, and productivity.
  • Performance Management: Skilled in designing performance appraisal processes to enhance employee productivity and organizational effectiveness.
  • Compensation and Benefits: Experience in designing and managing competitive benefit packages to attract and retain talent.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Lead the recruitment process to hire, onboard, and retain talented employees while ensuring a positive candidate experience.
  • Oversee employee performance evaluations and recommend performance improvement initiatives where necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies, minimizing legal risks and ensuring ethical standards are maintained.
  • Address and resolve employee grievances and conflicts effectively, fostering a harmonious work environment.
  • Analyze trends in compensation and benefits, ensuring the company's offerings are competitive and cost-effective.
  • Promote diversity and inclusion within the workplace by implementing relevant programs and practices.
  • Collaborate with departmental heads to understand their HR needs and provide strategic solutions to enhance workforce management.
  • Implementation of the HR & IR Policies.
  • Making Payroll, checking and forwarding to finance for payment of the Contract Labour Act, and latest amendments.
  • Full and Final settlement for resigned employees.
  • Leave and Attendance Management.
  • Travel arrangements: Ticketing, Hotel Booking, and Transfer for outbound staff and incoming visitors/clients.
  • Management of Canteen, Repairs, Maintenance, Facilities.
  • Calendar Management, Schedule meetings, reminders, and follow-ups etc.
  • Purchase of Safety shoes, Arrangements for Annual Medical Test, Uniforms, Tea – Coffee Management etc.
  • Vendor Management.
  • Handling all Statutory compliance.
