Roles and Responsibility

  • Accurately and efficiently abstract medical data from various sources.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines when handling sensitive information.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals and objectives.
  • Develop and implement effective data abstraction processes to improve quality and productivity.
  • Identify and resolve errors or discrepancies in data abstraction.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with industry trends and best practices.

Job Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology and concepts.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with CRM/IT enabled services/BPO industry is an advantage.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Experience working with medical data abstraction software and tools.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
