Job Title: Risk Analyst, NCT     

Location: Business Bay, Pune , India

Role Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sr. Analyst to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our different UAT testing through comprehensive testing methodologies. This role involves active participation in the lifecycle of the testing from requirements analysis to deployment and post-launch support, to identify, report, and track defects, ultimately contributing seamless testing in UAT and deployment of the change in the Production.

Your key responsibilities

Test Planning & Strategy:

• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements, specifications, and design documents.
• Participate in requirement reviews and provide valuable feedback from a testability perspective.
• Develop comprehensive test plans, test strategies, and test cases based on functional and non-functional requirements.

Test Design & Execution:

• Design, develop, and maintain clear, concise, and effective test cases (manual and/or automated).
• Execute various types of tests, including functional, regression, integration, system, performance, usability, and security testing.
• Accurately record test results, analyse failures, and identify root causes of defects

Collaboration & Communication:

• Work closely with cross-functional teams (developers, product owners, business analysts) throughout the development lifecycle.
• Actively participate in agile ceremony - sprint planning and retrospectives to provide testing updates and insights.
• Provide regular progress updates and status reports to the Lead/Manager.

Process Improvement & Automation (depending on level):

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, methodologies, and tools.

Your skills and experience

• Grad/post-grad degree. Qualified in a numerate discipline (Engineering/Maths/Statistics) will be plus.
• Strong understanding of financial markets
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• A reliable team player with the motivation to work in a dynamic, international and diverse environment.
• A committed and motivated individual for self-development and growth
• Keen interest in various risk frameworks and how they are interconnected for bank's capital
• Basic experience in using large datasets with experience in relevant software packages, e.g. MS Excel, MS Access, VBA, and SQL. Experience with additional programming languages is a plus, e.g. Python, Matlab, R, or C++.
• Knowledge of coding in Python and SAS will be added advantage
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
