What's this role about?

7 to 12 years of SAP experience in implementation, support and rollout projects Deep understanding of Business Process Knowledge Understanding of project implementation methodologies ITIL processes Design Implement and Support the SAP solution Work on support engagement and manage priority based tickets knowledge of SLAs and playing vital role in identifying RCA Contribute to competency and Coordinate with technical team on custom objects Interacting with customers understanding the requirements proposing solutions methodology etc.,

Mandatory Skillset required:

• Minimum 5 years of AMS and/or implementation experience in Logistics area (SD-LE, WM or EWM)

• Tier-1 Automotive experience is a must

• Extensive EDI knowledge is critical for this role

• Math, Computer Science, Engineering, or other technical related bachelor's degree is required

• Candidate should have a good understanding of manufacturing business processes.

• Nice to have interface knowledge between modules such as SD interaction with FI/CO and interfaces between MM, WM and PP modules.

• Any knowledge of JIT/JIS will be a huge advantage

• Ability to work independently or with little supervision.

You'll do this by:

• Managing and owning all aspects of technical development and delivery
• Understanding requirements and writing Functional Specification documents
• Should be an individual Contributor and played client facing lead role
• SAP Certification and Domain experience will be preferable
• Estimating efforts, identifying risks, and providing technical support whenever needed
• Demonstrating the ability to multitask and re-prioritizing responsibilities based on dynamic requirements
  A highly motivated natural team player with stupendous communication, interpersonal and analytical skills. Skilled in delivering in a goal oriented, target driven work environment.

Skills required to contribute:

• SAP SD Consultant with 7-12 years of experience on SAP ECC and S/4 HANA systems
• In-depth experience of SD functional module and thorough understanding of cross functional applications, integrating other modules like, FI, LE MM, PP, QM, CO-PA, CS,PS with SD.
• Functional Specifications Documents (FSDs), Taking Sign-offs, Configuration, Unit Testing, System Testing, Integration Testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Worked on Developing/Executing test scenarios and test cases. Hands on experience in Unit Testing, Integration Testing and Quality Assurance, error and bug track using HP Quality Center or any other testing tool.
• Regression Testing and User Acceptance Testing for verifying the functionality of the SD transactions
• Knowledge in SAP ASAP/Activate methodology that includes Implementation, Customization, Configuration, Upgrade, Integration, Testing and Support of SAP SD.
• Expertise in configuring Pricing Procedures in Sales and Distribution according to business requirements.
• Configuration experience in Special business processes like Third-party, Intercompany sales & Consignment sales process.
• Experienced in configuration and set-up of the SD module through IMG and supporting day to day SD module issues, providing enhancements and translating them into system configuration requirements.
• Excellent knowledge of SD concepts like customer and product hierarchy, variant configuration, pricing, partner determination, material determination, material listing and exclusions, text determination, Shipping point determination and Route determination, availability check, output types, product allocation, output determination, rebate processing, OTC (Order to Cash) . Expertise in customer /BP master data, Material master data, basic functions, account determination, taxes, sales document types, delivery, shipping, Repairs processes logistics and batch management.
• Identifying GAP's with the existing process and the new to be process.
• Worked on Business Requirements and Blue Printing of the process
• Developed and executed Test Scripts, recorded Test results
• Designed and provided completed upload data templates for Customer /BP Master, Pricing Master, and Open sales Order data migration from Legacy system to the Core SAP system.
• Worked on Developing/Executing test scenarios and test cases. Hands on experience in Unit Testing, Integration Testing and Quality Assurance
• Configuration expertise in the areas of Organizational Structures, Master data Order Management, Shipping, Billing, Pricing, Output determination with BRF+, transfer of requirements, Availability check, Rebate Processing, Batch Management, EDI, Handling Unit Management, Serialization, Inter Company Business Process, Returns Processing, MRP, LE-Transportation shipment and shipment cost processing.
• Worked on Bill of Materials, Configuration Profiles, Classifications, Pricing, Inventory Sourcing, Sales Order and distribution processes using Batch management.
• Successfully handled all the complex scenarios in Pricing, Credit Management, Availability check and TOR, Account Determination and Partner Determination
• Configuration of special business processes like consignments, Rush orders and Order to cash sales (OTC).
• Resolved issues with the Client in existing business processes and issues that required configuration changes
• Generated the reports as per the requirement of the client in SD module.
• Imparted extensive training to the End Users
• Provided post go-live support and generated daily status report
