Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate manual/conventional lathe machines to perform machining tasks on metal components.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, sketches, and work orders.
  • Perform turning, facing, grooving, threading, drilling, boring, and knurling operations.
  • Set up tools, fixtures, and workpieces correctly to ensure precision.
  • Measure and inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, vernier scales, and gauges.
  • Maintain tolerances and surface finish as per specifications.
  • Ensure machine maintenance, cleanliness, and adherence to safety guidelines.
  • Report any mechanical issues or quality defects to supervisors.
  • Follow production schedules and complete jobs within specified timelines.
  • Maintain production records and daily logs.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Min 2 years of experience operating a manual lathe machine.
  • Good understanding of mechanical drawings and measurements.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Knowledge of cutting speeds, feeds, and tool geometry.
  • Basic knowledge of machine maintenance and safety practices.
  • Physically fit and able to stand for long hours.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹13, ₹20,000.00 per month
