Role Overview

The Manager Civil Quality will oversee and ensure the highest standards of quality in civil and finishing works for ongoing project in Mumbai. This role demands meticulous attention to detail, strong knowledge of finishing materials and techniques, and the ability to lead quality assurance processes during the final stages of construction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Quality Assurance & Control

  • Implement and monitor quality control systems for finishing works (flooring, tiling, painting, joinery, etc.)

  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with design and quality standards

  • Review and approve method statements and inspection test plans (ITPs)

  • Material & Workmanship Verification

  • Ensure all materials used meet approved specifications

  • Validate workmanship against industry benchmarks and project requirements

  • Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain detailed records of inspections, non-conformities, and corrective actions

  • Prepare quality reports and dashboards for senior management

  • Coordination & Supervision

  • Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and consultants to resolve quality issues

  • Supervise site engineers and quality inspectors to ensure consistent execution

  • Compliance & Safety

  • Ensure adherence to relevant IS codes, NBC norms, and Chalet Hotels internal quality protocols

  • Promote a culture of safety and quality across the site
