Role Overview

We are hiring a Business Associate to work closely with the leadership team on high-impact, cross-functional initiatives. This role blends elements of a Founder's Office position (strategy, research, coordination) with business execution responsibilities (bids, tenders, and operations). It is ideal for individuals with a strong technical or business background who are eager to gain hands-on exposure to startup strategy, operations, and execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support leadership in
    strategic planning, decision-making, and project execution.
  • Assist in
    bid/tender preparation, documentation, and submission
    , coordinating with finance and operations.
  • Conduct
    market research, competitive benchmarking, and customer intelligence gathering.
  • Prepare
    business reports, investor decks, proposals, and internal presentations.
  • Coordinate across departments (tech, product, operations, BD, finance) to track progress and resolve challenges.
  • Analyze business and operational data to provide
    insights and data-backed recommendations.
  • Support workflow improvements by documenting and
    streamlining key processes.
  • Ensure compliance and smooth handling of
    contracts, tenders, and vendor documentation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Graduate or Postgraduate in
    Engineering, Business, or related fields
    .
  • 1–3 years of experience in
    business coordination, strategy, bids/tenders, or cross-functional roles.
  • Strong academic background with demonstrated interest in
    startups, product strategy, or industrial tech.

Key Skills Required

  • Strong understanding of bids/tender processes.
  • Strategic thinking and analytical problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets, PowerPoint, and data presentation.
  • Strong organization, documentation, and research abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment with minimal supervision.
  • Proactive, ownership-driven attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt.
  • Familiarity with B2B, industrial tech, or IoT sectors is an advantage.
