RoleKanerika is searching for an accomplished and driven DevOps Manager to become a vital part of our dynamic team. In this role, reporting directly to the Head of Delivery, you will play a pivotal role in spearheading the adoption and execution of DevOps practices across diverse projects and teams. Your proficiency in constructing and upholding CI/CD pipelines, automating deployment workflows, and guaranteeing dependability and scalability of applications will play a fundamental role in propelling our clients toward success.

We are located at Austin (USA), Singapore, Gurugram (India), Ahmedabad (India) and Hyderabad (India).

We are looking for you
You are an enthusiastic and results-oriented individual with a passion for managing the devops teams. As a DevOps Manager at Kanerika, you will play a crucial role in managing & leading and inspiring DevOps team while ensuring the successful implementation of DevOps practices across projects and teams servicing customers US, EMEA, and India. You will report directly to the Head of Delivery and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align DevOps strategies with business goals. Your role is pivotal in driving our clients' success through the effective use of DevOps methodologies and practices.
RequirementsWhat you'll do
· Team Leadership: Build (Hire & Train) , Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of skilled DevOps professionals. Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment. Define goals, measure individual progress, provide constructive feedback and manage team members' career growth at Kanerika.
· DevOps Strategy: Work closely with the Head of Delivery to develop and implement effective DevOps strategies that align with business objectives.
· CI/CD Pipeline Management: Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of robust CI/CD pipelines for various projects and technologies.
· Collaboration: Collaborate seamlessly with development and operations teams to ensure code quality, automate testing processes, and streamline deployment workflows.
· Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Implement and manage IaC practices using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or equivalent, ensuring scalable and reliable infrastructure.
· Performance and Security: Monitor and ensure the reliability, performance, and security of production environments, implementing necessary measures.
· Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous enhancements in deployment processes, monitoring strategies, and incident response mechanisms.
· Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and support to DevOps team members, fostering their professional growth.
· Industry Trends: Stay up-to-date with the latest DevOps trends, cloud technologies, and best practices, and incorporate them into the team's strategies.
· Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align DevOps practices with business goals and ensure effective communication.
· Presentation and Reporting: Participate in management meetings, share projects/customer statuses, escalations and progress updates. Share mitigation plans as required.
What you'll bring
· Bachelor's / Master's Degree: In Computer Science or a related field.
· Leadership Experience: Proven experience in leading and managing DevOps teams, driving performance and growth.
· Technical Expertise: Strong hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, etc.), IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible, etc.), cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), containerization (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes, AKS, EKS or GKS etc.).
· Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to addressing technical challenges.
· Communication: Effective communication skills for collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
· DevOps Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and DevOps methodologies.
· Certifications: Relevant certifications in DevOps, cloud, or related areas are advantageous.
