Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Site Electrical Engineer to oversee the on-site electrical activities for large-scale solar ground projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems in solar power plants. This role requires a deep understanding of solar PV systems, electrical infrastructure, and the ability to manage site operations effectively to ensure project success.

Key Responsibilities

  • On-Site Supervision: Oversee and manage the installation of electrical systems for solar ground mount projects, including PV modules, inverters, transformers, Panels, and cabling.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all electrical installations are performed to the highest quality standards, following industry best practices and project specifications.
  • Testing & Commissioning: Lead the testing and commissioning of electrical systems, ensuring proper functionality and compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve any electrical issues on-site, providing immediate solutions to maintain project timelines and quality.
  • Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and ensure all electrical work adheres to relevant safety regulations and standards, conducting regular site inspections and safety audits.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed records of electrical work performed, including daily reports, inspection logs, and as-built drawings.
  • Coordination: Work closely with project managers, civil engineers, and subcontractors to coordinate electrical work with other site activities, ensuring smooth project execution.
  • Material Management: Oversee the delivery, storage, and use of electrical materials on-site, ensuring they meet project specifications and are used efficiently.
  • Client & Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for electrical-related issues on-site, communicating progress and challenges to project stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Educational Background: Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience: 5-10 years of experience as a site engineer in solar ground projects or similar roles in the renewable energy sector.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD), and strong knowledge of solar PV systems, inverters, and transformers.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve on-site electrical issues promptly.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with site teams and stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with energy storage systems and grid-tied solar installations.
  • Familiarity with SCADA systems and remote monitoring tools.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹400, ₹600,000.00 per year
