Role & responsibilities

1. Plant Setup, Commissioning & Infrastructure Establishment

• Lead and supervise installation, commissioning, and performance trials of all machinery and utilities.

• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and engineers for timely completion of plant setup milestones.

• Establish efficient functioning of ETP (Effluent Treatment Plant) STP (Sewage Treatment Plant)

• Cold Room / Controlled Temperature Storage
• Electrical Power & Transformer Systems

• Plumbing, drainage, and water systems

• Conduct trial runs, validation, and commissioning reports before commercial production.

• Achieve stable plant operations with minimal downtime post-commissioning.

2. Legal, Statutory & Environmental Compliance

• Obtain and maintain statutory licenses (FSSAI, MIDC, MPCB/PCB, Factory License, Labour, Fire, Electrical, etc.).
• Ensure adherence to all environmental, labour, and industrial safety norms.
• Coordinate with consultants and authorities for approvals, renewals, and audits.

3. Production & Operations Management

• Manage complete turmeric processing inward, cleaning, drying, grinding, sieving, and packing.
• Achieve production targets with optimal resource utilization and cost efficiency.
• Maintain smooth workflow and consistent output quality.

4. Quality Assurance & Hygiene

• Ensure compliance with FSSAI norms and internal quality standards.
• Maintain hygiene and sanitation in production and storage areas.
• Monitor Cold Room temperature and ensure hygienic storage conditions.

5. Maintenance & Utility Management

• Implement preventive and predictive maintenance schedules.
• Ensure continuous operation of utilities ETP, STP, Cold Room, power, and water.
• Maintain calibration, maintenance, and performance records.

6. Administration, Security & Asset Management

• Oversee administration, security, and facility management within the plant premises.
• Ensure access control, visitor management, and asset protection.
• Supervise housekeeping, canteen, and facility upkeep.
• Maintain staff discipline, attendance, and safety compliance.

7. Safety, Environment & Loss Prevention

• Enforce safety norms, PPE compliance, and emergency procedures.
• Conduct fire, safety, and environmental audits.
• Target zero accidents and zero pilferage through preventive systems.

8. Systems, SOPs & Documentation

• Develop and implement SOPs for commissioning, production, maintenance, utilities, and security.
• Maintain all statutory and operational documentation for audits.

Promote a culture of accountability, documentation, and continuous improvement

Preferred candidate profile

the desired Candidate must have Skills as mentioed below :

• Proven experience in Plant setup, commissioning, Production management, Utilities, and compliance.
• Strong leadership, administrative, and people management skills.
• Technical expertise in process equipment installation, trial runs, and optimization.
• Familiarity with FSSAI, Factory Act, MPCB norms, labour laws, and industrial safety protocols.

Ability to work with vendors, consultants, engineers, and regulatory bodies.
