Project Coordinator

Job Summary:
The Project Coordinator will play a crucial role in supporting project management activities and,
ensuring effective planning, execution, and completion of projects within set timelines and
budgets. This individual will coordinate between teams, and client communication, monitor
progress, and assist in troubleshooting issues to support successful project outcomes. The role
is ideal for someone highly organised with a strong understanding of IT processes, excellent
communication skills, and a keen attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning & Scheduling:
Assist in defining project scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines.
Develop detailed project schedules, monitor progress, and ensure timelines are
met.
Coordinate project kick-off meetings and regular updates with stakeholders.
- Coordination & Communication:
Act as the main point of contact between project teams, stakeholders, and clients.
Facilitate communication across departments to ensure project alignment.
Organize and document meetings, updates, and follow-up actions.
- Resource Management:
Assist in the allocation of project resources, including personnel, equipment, and
budgets.
Track vendor's manpower utilization and report on any gaps or excesses.
Handle company equipment, stock, and inventoryensuring all resources
are properly accounted for and maintained.
- Documentation & Reporting:
Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including requirements, project
plans, status reports, and post-project evaluations.
Generate regular reports on project status, risks, and issues for management
review.
- Issue & Risk Management:
Identify project risks and issues, escalating them when necessary.
Assist in developing and implementing mitigation strategies to ensure project
success.
- Quality Assurance & Compliance:
Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and comply with client
requirements and IT standards. Perform periodic reviews and audits to ensure project adherence to policies and
standards.
- Support Project Close-Out:
Coordinate project closure activities, including final deliverable handoffs and
project evaluations.
Gather and document lessons learned to improve future project processes.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology/Computer Science
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in IT project coordination or a similar role.
- Technical Skills:
Good command in Excel and MS Access and understanding of Database
Basic knowledge of Networking, Servers, windows applications, and Software
- Soft Skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills.
Problem-solving abilities and proactive approach to challenges.e
