ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Apps DBA Solution Architect with strong technical expertise in Oracle Applications DBA and Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS), combined with solutioning, pre-sales, and consulting experience. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of designing and implementing robust Oracle solutions, guiding teams, and ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and business goals.
- Lead the architecture, design, and deployment of Oracle E-Business Suite (11i to R12.2) environments.
- Install, configure, and administer Oracle Applications, Databases, Middleware layers (iAS, WebLogic, Forms & Reports).
- Manage database administration activities, including installation, patching, upgrades, backup, recovery, cloning, and migration.
- Perform performance tuning, optimization, and capacity planning for Oracle databases and applications.
- Implement high availability, security, and disaster recovery solutions using RAC, CRS, and Data Guard.
- Support and optimize Oracle EBS applications across on-premise and cloud platforms (Azure preferred).
- Collaborate with enterprise architects, business analysts, and consulting teams to design and deliver scalable solutions.
- Provide technical leadership, ensuring alignment with best practices, enterprise standards, and customer requirements.
- Contribute to pre-sales activities, including solution presentations, RFP responses, effort estimation, and proposal building.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation (procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting guides).
- Drive root cause analysis for production incidents and provide long-term solutions.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) versions 11i to R12.2
- Oracle Applications DBA & Oracle RDBMS (up to 12c)
- Cloning methodologies, patching & maintenance of EBS tech stack
- Oracle RAC, CRS, Data Guard, Performance Tuning
- Backup, recovery, replication strategies (RMAN)
- Middleware components: iAS, WebLogic, Forms & Reports
- Azure Cloud (deployment, configuration, monitoring, optimization)
- SQL Server Administration (performance, security, reliability)
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and client-facing consulting skills
